There’s a new blog in town which goes by the name of OnPulseIM dot com. It was started by Colin Klinkert on 8 Aug and Colin touted it as a hub where readers can get everything they need to know about Internet and Affiliate marketing. Guest writers who practice what they preached will be invited to give you top recommendations on how to make money online.
OnPulseIM understands that it is loyal readers that help make most blogs a success, and therefore they will run regular contests for their readers to take part in. They are currently holding their first contest to kick start the new blog, where a lucky blogger stands a chance to win $100 cash in a random draw.
To enter, just write a short review of OnPulseIM like this post, you also have to Digg and Stumble the contest post to be eligible for the draw. It is still early days to say whether OnPulseIM is the upcoming blog to watch. The jury may still be out but initial signs are encouraging and if Colin can deliver as promised, he will have a sure winner on hand.

There are blog contests galore offering common prizes from cold hard cash to sleek electronic gadgets, all targeted to drive up traffic for the blog owner. For the contest entrants, such prizes are good to have, but ultimately, they are just stuffs that will not improve the winners’ sites and help them become better bloggers.
Ben Cook, who is behind the Blogging Experiment, wants to change that and is holding his blog contest offering a useful all-in-one blogging package. Ben had devised an interesting concept behind Blogging Experiment. He started his blog to try and get it to generate a full time income starting from scratch. He had set a time frame of 365 days for this experiment and will document every step he takes to make money blogging, so that anyone can duplicate his success or learn from his failure.

After making the switch and having a roaring success of an opening ceremony where many cool bloggers come and play, I woke up from my “drunken stupor” feeling smitten by a “Love is in the air” link love. If you ever had the experience of someone confessing their love to you publicly, you will know what I mean.
A long time friend (4 months is a long time in Internet term) professed her love for me… my blog, by awarding me a cool bumper-sticker badge. Why am I feeling kind of hot under the collar? I love you…your blog back Christy!!

As this is not a meme, it is not compulsory to tag a number of other bloggers to pass on the badge. But since I am feeling all smitten and loved, I’ll also profess my love and award this badge to some blogs I’ve a crush on!

Mike is the voice behind DevDad.com, the blog with a tag line Stay At Home Dad, Geek Style. With such a clear cut description, Mike has given his readers a very direct introduction of himself from the word go.
Mike started this personal blog to document his life as a young stay-at-home dad, as a new business owner, and as a guy who is trying to figure out how to juggle more than he is used to. Most of all, as can be seen from his frequent posting, Mike writes about what happens at home during the day, juggling work and babysitting his beautiful daughter, Alex.
Mike is a work from home web designer and a photography buff. His blog posts are peppered with lots of photos of his daughter. Seeing those photos really tug at my heartstring and make me really miss my daughter. His love for photography and digital gadget makes him lust after the Nikon D80, which he got his hands on recently.
In his Stay At Home Dad Digital Camera Give-Away contest, Mike is giving away a Canon PowerShot SD750. It is a well designed ultra-compact camera, with 7.1 megapixels, a giant 3″ LCD display, and awesome image quality. This camera got a very good score of 7.8 out of 10 in CNET’s editor’s review.
Besides this ultra cool camera, Mike has also tied up with SmugMug.com to offer additional prizes worth over $1200 for contest entrants! Besides the contest winner, there will be 15 consolation prizes up for grabs! Now you have 15 additional reasons to enter Mike’s contest.
