The Week In Review (26/8 – 1/9)
Every Sunday I’ll publish a post on interesting posts I’ve came across or events happening in the blogosphere over the past week (Sun – Sat).
- One important method to drive traffic to your site and improve your Alexa ranking is to research niche keywords and apply them in your content. Courtney Tuttle posted some keywords that should be super easy to target in their respective niche.
- Enkay lamented about the unfair advantage blogspot blogs have on TLA on the basis that listings are heavily dependent on Alexa ranking. To be honest, I am not too familiar with the mechanics of TLA, yet. Does anyone have any opinions on Enkay’s rant?
- We all know setting goals are an essential part of our lives, be it for our careers, our families or even our blogs. Michael Kwan wrote about the neccessitiy of setting goals that are S.M.A.R.T. Set goals and aim for the needle, not the haystack.
- Anyone who wants to make use of social bookmarking sites to drive traffic to your blog, should read up “The Ultimate Guide to Leveraging StumbleUpon” at Daily Moolah dot com. Dev Basu wrote a highly detailed post, sharing with hi sreaders his strategies on leveraging this potent tool which can get extremely viral.
- If you are operating on a tight budget yet want to increase visibility of your blog via advertising means, you can purchase a block at BloggingsMostWanted for a mere $15 where you can display your avatar or mug shot for a minimum of 5 years! I say that’s great value for your money.

Thanks for the plug bud! Hope you visit Daily Moolah again sometime soon.
Cheers
