The Week In Review (23/9 - 30/9)
We have already reached the last week of review for the month of September. Where has all the time flown to? Without further ado, let’s cruise through the blogosphere and see what’s happening this past week.
- With the huge success of Wikipedia comes many copy cats in the form of paid wikis that sells you a page for a one time fee and allows you to monetize it for life. Etienne Teo picked 3 wikis that created a buzz recently and evaluated them and also gave suggestions on how you can make money out of this phenomenon.
- David of PureBlogging dot com went missing in action for a vacation and came back and want to know Have You Been Stumbled Upon? He shared with us how he got the most out of SU and how he made his blog sticky to visitors from SU.
- With Next time you come across a file with an extension you aren’t familiar with, don’t be too quick to hit the delete button. Brown Baron found the source for file extension information. Next time you see a file with strange endings, you know where to go.
- Seems like the launch of BlogRush was too much of a rush and got bumped into a brick wall.

The BlogRush dashboard had been inaccessible for many days now. They are in the progress of a major overhual to the system and will release a completely revamped dashboard to their users. This enforced downtime will definitely hurt new signup rate as people will be turned off by a page or a site that shows they are in some sort of a under maintenance mode.
Since we have reached the end of the month, I’ll post a summary of some pillar posts I’ve written in September for the benefit of those who missed them and also those new to this blog.
- The 5Es of Essential Blogging (featured in EzineArticles.com)
