A couple of days back, I shared with you a new program on how to Make Money With DealDotCom. If you are still procrastinating (like all losers do) about joining this excellent program, let me give you another couple of reasons you couldn’t say no to joining.

How about it’s Free to join! Nothing to download, and no viewbar to install.

These words have probably made you start shaking with anticipation or have you already gone into a little fit? Wait till you read this:

It doesn’t matter if they buy something tomorrow, next week, or fifty years from now - you’re going to get paid. What’s more, anyone that they refer to DealDotCom goes on your second tier. Anything people on your second tier buy nets you a 15% commission. Again, FOREVER.

DealDotCom pays affiliate commissions 30 days after the end of the month via PayPal or send you a check via snail mail if you’re still living in the Dark Ages.

DealDotCom’s affiliate program is as good as it gets. You won’t find a much better deal elsewhere. If you haven’t taken advantage of the affiliate program yet, you should definitely do so. Get Your Free Account now!

NeoKnight (the same guy who is giving away funny t shirt) had come up with some cool affiliate banners you can use to promote DealDotCom. Stick them anywhere on your sites and start building your network!

The Week In Review (9/9 - 15/9)

Another week had slipped by and it’s another round of weekly review of interesting posts and events happening in the blogosphere.

  • Who among us doesn’t dream of working 4 hour work week and earning passive income online? The fact of the matter is 99.9% of successful people have slogged their way through years of 40 hours work week(probably more) before they can even think about working only 4 hours per week. One such blogger who defies convention is Nate Whitehill and he had created opportunities to enjoy his 24/7 vacation, 16 hours a day.
  • Doing blog redesign and having a customized theme seems to be the order of the day recently. But if you are a tight-budget blogger who can’t afford to plonk down the cash for a custom blog theme, you can still do a redesign with over 3000 free blogger template and Wordpress themes to choose from.
  • Reality Wired offers a whimsical look at some of the reasons that have been claimed will get your license to use a golden shovel revoked - by the Digg gods. Don’t say you haven’t been warned, dig your own grave at your own peril.
  • Michelle at Bloggrrl dot com invites you to take a shot at her latest contest and stand a chance to win a set of shot glass checker. If you are drawn as the winner but don’t live in the US, you have the option of receiving $25 via Paypal instead.

Shot Through The Glass Ceiling

As much as we love the fun (and cash) blogging brought us, how many of us can claim to be a pro blogger. The vast majority of us still hold full-time job to bring the dough home and blog part-time hopping to make consistent income stream with our blogs in order to turn pro someday.

While we are still facing the steep learning curve of making passive income online, there is no stopping us to try to make more money for what we are worth - offline.

When an employee has been working for the same company for several years, it is not surprising to find there is a huge discrepancy or lag in his compensation with what the market is paying others with comparable skills and experience.

If you have been putting in the hours at work and sacrificing whatever little work-life balance you have, but still feel your earnings lag behind those of your peers in similar industries, you can really do two things: Read the rest of this entry »

Find The Right Key To Unlock Your Keywords

I’ve been reading up on Search Engine Optimization techniques and realized one of the crucial element in SEO is to perform keyword research and select keywords relevant to your niche. To be honest with you, this important process was neglected on this blog early on and I could be paying for this negligence with low and unfocused traffic. If you don’t want to end up like me facing an uphill task climbing search engine ranking and driving targeted traffic, read on to find out what I’ve learnt.

Keyword research is a crucial starting point of SEO if you want to optimize your blogs and even more important if you want to monetized them. Having your blogs optimized for the right keywords can make a huge difference when it comes to getting targeted traffic. Targeted keywords drive targeted organic traffic, which in turn translate to high conversion rate.

Keyword research is the only way to approach SEO with informed expectations. Ideally, you would want to find a keyword or keywords that are high in demand (number of times the keyword was searched for) but with low competition (number of competing sites with similar keywords). However, we know that is highly difficult to achieve, given the millions of websites out there which were already highly optimized with highly targeted keywords. Unless you have a super unique product or content to offer on your blogs, the entry barriers to getting targeted traffic with high search volume keywords are pretty high.
