What’s In Your Success Toolbox?

Success

No matter who we are or what we do, there are many traits and attitudes that are required to achieve enduring and satisfying success. In the context of blogging, here I’ve put together 10 successful traits of Successful Bloggers (in no particular order of importance).

1. They have Passion
They are passionate about their stuffs, their blogs, content, products and services offered. They keep honing and improving their expertise and their networking skills. Like all good entrepreneurs, they have the uncanny ability to make things happen rather than wait for things to happen.

2. They are Creative
New inventions, technologies and approaches are innovated and discovered everyday. Top bloggers are always on the lookout for new creative ideas, solutions or information that are useful to implement on their sites and also help their readers and clients be more competitive and successful. Creative people are naturally curious, inquisitive, and 1001 ideas are constantly bouncing off their mind.

3. They are a Resource
Top bloggers who put a distance between themselves and their nearest competitors sell themselves as a resource for their readers and clients. Being a resource, they are relied upon for advice and answers to issues related to their niche. They share creative ideas and information regularly.

4. They love what they are doing
Top bloggers enjoy and live life to the fullest. They understand that life is not a dress rehearsal and live every day as if it is their last. They have fun and are fun to be with and do not take life or themselves too seriously. Their definition of winning is beating their personal best and not beating others. When they find themselves in a losing situation, they pick themselves up quickly and find new opportunities in adversities.

5. They Invest in themselves
Top bloggers have an insatiable hunger to improve themselves by continuously acquiring new skills, seek greater understanding and awareness of themselves and their readers, and integrate this valuable knowledge into their blogging acitivites.

6. They go the Extra mile
Successful bloggers promise a lot and deliver more. They accomplish such “beyond the call of duty” feats by being faster, smarter, and more diligent than their competition. Going the extra mile means doing more for their readers and clients than they expects, demands and pays for. The extra mile to us may just mean the routine route for them.

7. They focus on service
Top bloggers focus on what their readers get, not what they can get out of their readers. To these people, serving their readers is the foundation of everything they do. They build a reputation that is a testimony to this philosophy. Their success rests on being there first, last and everytime when they are needed.

8. They are Authentic
They don’t pretend to be what they are not and waste time maintaining a false fa

By the way…I subscribed to your new feed but none of our posts are showing up in my reader?

Hi Lori

I understand your plight, I’ve been struggling with crazy schedule myself with work-families-kids-personal stuff in addition to squeezing out a couple of posts on a weekly basis.

Something wrong with RSS feed again? Let me check with other subscriber if they encounter similar problem.

I’m not sure exactly which one is your first name and how you address each other in Singapore.
