Be Googlerized Or Be Square

Just when we thought we’ve seen the last of Google PageRank mood swings, the big G had other ideas. Earlier, Google went to town bitch slapping blogs selling text-link ads, targeting mostly high profile authority blogs to send out a strong message. Now it has set its sight on paid reviews and has gone after everyday bloggers in the PayPerPost network. Many blogs that make money via PayPerPost had their PageRank nuked to ground ZERO!

While many nuked Posties are still licking their PR wounds (or whatever that’s left), IZEA - the new umbrella corporation that includes PayPerPost - is not taking all this crap lying down. They are working on a solution called RealRank which is based, not on the whimsical mood of a mega giant that thinks it can control the Internet, but on:

  • 70% weighted towards visitors per day
  • 20% weighted towards amount of ACTIVE inbound links per day
  • 10% weighted towards pageviews per day

Is RealRank the new and improved PageRank? Will it restore order to the blogosphere? Only time will tell, and it better be fast.In the meantime, make your choice like a real man, there are no in-betweens, you either live by Google or you die by Google. Choose your path…..follow the light and surrender to Google or submit to the darkside and say goodbye to Google. Those who rants incessantly and hope to have you believe that PR doesn’t matter anymore are in denial mode. Now get this straight, PR DOES matter! Not to satisfy your ego, but it matters to your traffic and Adsense income as Organic traffic drives the most Adsense income. If you want to live by Google and keep your PageRank, here’s a tip. Always be mindful to put on the Google condom, otherwise known as Goorex (ripped for their pleasure). They are 100% leak-proof to prevent you spreading PR juice.

Thanks for the link. ;)

I wouldn’t trust those Goorex - Google are probably as inept at making condoms as they are at making search engines. ;)

Cheers!

I would say their PR suck! (PR = Public Relations)

They may have the IQ, but they seriously lack EQ!

i’ve been nuked to zero as well….stupid and biased move by Google as they are picking on the small guys but let the big guys off the hook after a slap on the wrist.

Many of the big guys selling links got back their pagerank a few days after the rank dunking a few weeks ago and those who did at least still have a rank. But the small guys like me without a voice has lost our ranks all together with no notice or official release and because we are so small I doubt anything will come out of it.

This is the first needle in the Google coffin in my eyes. I’ll be evaluation realrank to see how good it is, google can take their pagerank and shove it up their internet overlord acting ass.

I’ve been waiting for someone to create a PageRank competitor. It seemed like the obvious thing to do when things started getting dicey with Google.

Open competition is the bloodline of a free market economy and it is no different on the web.

Bwahaha, good one Snoskred ;-)

I had actually heard about penalties for PayPerPost at the same time as paid links. But this is the first I’ve heard of a blanket PR 0.

Damn, but there is no way to get on the PR train back again? Is it so? I believe PR does matter, because there are millions who still believe in PR and will pay anything for it for 6+.

Anyways, lets see what happens!
