I very much agree with your comment and I love the fact that EntreCard has opened the door to new (or lower budget) bloggers to advertise on higher profile blogs without having to shuffle out a lot of cash. Sure, you may not get a lot of time, but it is still free. Everyday my credits go up (this is only the 2nd day I’ve been running EntreCard) so it’s just a waiting game to spend credits on advertising on big-name blogs once I earn enough credits (which doesn’t seem to be taking very long)

I really like EntreCard and with the “success” I’ve had with it so far on my second day, I’m curious to see what kinds of rewards it’ll have brought me in a few months time.

Yeah, I’ve pulled the ‘drop and leave’ also. I stop to look around other blogs with the e-widget when I’m not busy, though, and a handful of other users have done the same. By the way, I found out about this service because I was browsing your site last week and the widget caught my eye.

This blog has so far got almost 100 hits, average time spent was 28sec with bounce rate of 85%.

I guess such high bounce rate is within my expectation because most people, including myself, visits sites to drop cards, scroll down real quick and exit the site. Unless there’s something eye-catching that catches my attention, I’ll drop my card and exit to drop more cards on other sites.

Having said that, I’ve stumbled upon some really interesting blogs through EntreCard and had bookmarked them for repeat visits. I wouldn’t have come across them without EntreCard, so on that account, I deem this service to be useful in expanding my network.

How’s the traffic quality for the entrecard referral? I’ve had almost 200 hits from card-droppers, but my bounce rate from them is terrible. According to analytics, the average time spent on my site from traffic sent from entrecard was 27 seconds with a bounce rate of 98%. This isn’t really a complaint though, I was just wondering if you’ve had better results. Not-so-quality traffic is better than no traffic.

I agree! I might give Entrecard a try. I’m beginning to think that BlogRush is not living up to their expectations, and slowly they are deteriorating.
