SingTel Singapore Grand Prix Countdown
There are 10 more days to go to the 2008 FORMULA 1™ Singtel Singapore Grand Prix. After the many motor sports events and promotions held earlier as a lead up to the F1 Singtel Grand Prix, the likes of Hamiltons and Raikkonens will descend on our shores next week! No matter how many F1 simulators you may have drove in, and how Singtel touted it as the closest you’ll come to racing a Formula One car, it is just not the real thing. F1 fever is here in town and the count down to the real thing is truly on!
The inaugural FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix will take place on a street circuit of public roads around the Marina Bay area. The race will be the first held at night in FORMULA 1™ history and is the first street race in Asia. Consisting of 61 laps over a total distance of 309km, the race will be in an anti-clockwise direction as can be seen from the race map below.
