Blogging Is So Passe
This news article appeared in the local newspaper today, the headline says it all, isn’t it?
I felt sheepishly ironic that I’m blogging this. 2009 will be the year of Twitter, you should get on to Twitter if you haven’t already done so and you should follow me on Twitter.
Whatev.
People blog AND tweet now. I don’t know anyone who has abandoned their blog in order to just use Twitter.

Most of my online friends still blogs and twitter.
Due to its limitation of 140 characters, Twitter won’t replace blogging anytime soon.
It’s always the end of something, and the start of something new.
In a few years no doubt Twitter will be surpassed by something else
Personally I think one compliments the other, and while Twitter is great for quick updates it soon becomes mundane with “I’m walking my dog”, “I’m fixing dinner” etc lol. You still need long form blogging, but Twitter can let you post quick links, notes, etc.
