In a few years no doubt Twitter will be surpassed by something else :-) Personally I think one compliments the other, and while Twitter is great for quick updates it soon becomes mundane with "I'm walking my dog", "I'm fixing dinner" etc lol. You still need long form blogging, but Twitter can let you post quick links, notes, etc. It’s always the end of something, and the start of something new.
