What’s Your Tri*Factor?

What’s Your Tri*Factor?

That’s the question the organisers want you to find out in the inaugural edition of Tri*Factor Series 2009, the first-of-its-kind triathlon series to be held in Singapore.  This endurance sport series consist of TRI-Swim, Tri-Bike, Tri-Run and will cumulate in a Triathlon in September.

This Sunday morning, on the second day of August finds me testing my limits in Tri-Run 21km. Is Tri-Run my TRI*Factor? Let’s find out.

The TRI-Run consisted of three distance categories at 5km, 10km and 21km ran on a 5km road circuit. Runners in 21km category had to complete 4 loops of the circuit with the first loop at 6km.

The above pic was taken after I’ve crossed the finishing line at 1hr 42mins (unofficial time). As usual, the official timing will take some time for the race organiser to sort out and release publicly.

Runners are treated to free foot massage, provided by the official welfare partner EneRgyworkz. Nothing beats a good rub down after a hard race.
