Feel The Drift
The Formula Drift Singapore 2010 race, the inaugural round of the Formula Drift Asian Series, was held last weekend and I was there to experience the thrill of high-speed drifting first hand at the Singapore F1 Pit Building.
Drifting is a motorsports event where the winner isn’t the racer that goes fastest but is often compared to the freestyle nature of skateboarding and motocross. The winner is judged on execution and style, how stylishly they string together lurid powerslides on a very short and narrow circuit rather than who finishes the course in the fastest time.
Besides the on-track thrilling actions and lots of burnt rubber, the car show babes were out in force and proved to be one of the “star attraction” for many motorsport enthusiasts and budding photographers.

What are racing cars without the hot babes? They were out in full force which made the trigger happy photographers so excited!

The Formula Drift Asian Series will go to Jarkarta next, follow by Bangkok, with the finals to be held in Kuala Lumpur at the end of the year.
