Recently I joined the ranks of thousands of Hipstamaddicts and Instagrammers and had lots of fun taking photos, sharing photos and viewing exquisite photos shared by the community, all on the iPhone. Ever since I downloaded the apps, I have became more aware of my surroundings, in terms of always on the look out for great photo opportunities.

On the second day of the Chinese New Year, we went to Sentosa for the annual flower show. Sentosa Flowers 2011 is themed “Spring Wonderland” and featured more than 200 types of flowers, plants and trees from around the world. Spanning across the newly-open Boardwalk, Resorts World Sentosa, Merlion Plaza and Imbiah Lookout, Sentosa was transformed into an incredible floral wonderland filled with brilliant colors, textures and sweet scents from the season.
There were throngs of people everywhere, vying for the best spots to take photographs and bring home the memories with them.
As this is the year of the Rabbit, there were many flowers arranged in the shape of rabbit.
The 12 Chinese zodiac animals were also on show.
The rain came in the afternoon, but it did not deter many photo enthusiasts, determined to take that perfect shot!
