About
Hello everyone, thanks for visiting Betshopboy dot net. By visiting this page, you probably want to find out a little more about me. I’m very flattered by your interest and I hope I won’t disappoint you.

The man behind the keyboard - who is Betshopboy
Borned 34 years ago in 1973 on this sunny tropical island of Singapore, my real name is Chee Wee Ng. I am happily married with 2 beautiful children. My passions lies in football(soccer), Internet and tech gadgets. However, my day job does not revolve around these passions. When online, I go by my alter ego Betshopboy.
Why Betshopboy
I am a huge football fanatic! English football that is, commonly known as soccer in US. I used to play football throughout my school going life. The football field was practically my second home. Now I only play kick-about with my son, double up as a couch-potato coach when European football season is in full swing and “play” the game in local bet shop. Hence, Betshopboy. I am NOT a Pet Shop Boy fan.
Background
This blog was registered in July 2006 out of curiosity. I wasn’t prepared for the rigors that is required of blogging then, and after some very infrequent posts, the novelty wore off and the motivation to blog stops. It did not die a natural death, and this blog continued to occupy a space at the back of my mind.
While surfing the blogosphere back in March 2007, I stumbled upon John Chow dot com and happened to read his post about his February earnings. I was inspired and the blog juice started pumping again, I took up the challenge again and have not looked back since - the blogging, not the earnings. Hence, I considered this blog was reborn in March 2007, and that firmly puts me in the newbie blogger bracket.
Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me, please feel free to contact me @ betshopboy[at]betshopboy.net anytime with any questions, comments and/or feedback or simply just say Hi! I would love to hear from you about yourself or your blogs!
Updates on 11 August 2007
The above “About Me” page were written when this blog was in beta (read: Blogger). If it was considered a rebirth back in March, then I’ll call this migration from Blogger to Wordpress a “second coming”.
