Today I received an email announcing the demise of a website. A site which had promised so much, yet delivered so little. In fact, it didn’t deliver at all to us, its members. By now you may have read blog posting about this latest Internet news, AGLOCO is DEAD!!

Dear Ng,

We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO’s operations. We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs. As a development team we are unable to continue to use our savings to fund the operations. If any Member would like to pursue continuing the operations of AGLOCO, you may contact us at agloco1@live.com .

We would like to thank every Member for supporting our effort to bring a piece of the Internet directly to the user. We hope that we can find a way to keep the operations going.

With that done, we waited in anticipation for the viewbar to be ready for members to download in order to start accumulating AGLOCO hours, earned while we surf, in exchange for easy riches. We waited, and waited, the official release date got delayed a couple of times. Some members ran out of patience and doubts started appearing in our minds questioning whether AGLOCO is for real. These ghost were laid to rest when we received an update in June informing us the all clear to download the by now infamous viewbar.

We are pleased to report that your AGLOCO Viewbar has been released and is ready for you to download now. Since you signed up with AGLOCO, our community has continued to grow even larger, stronger, and more active. With the Viewbar software, we are excited for each Member of the AGLOCO community to begin earning their share of the wealth generated on the Internet.

Fast forward to present time, a good 5 months since the viewbar went live, no one got paid a dime (at least never heard of it being reported) and now, it was pronounced DEAD!! The signs were omnipresent, signs that all were not right, it was heading for gloom right from the beginning. It was a wrecked relationship from start to finish.

Lesson learnt
If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I wouldn’t go so far as to say AGLOCO is a scam or a get-rich-quick scheme. In my opinion, it was a good idea, just managed and excuted poorly. Luckily, we didn’t lose anything other than some dash hopes of making money while doing our favourite activity. I’m sure there are people out there who had invested some money to build their network, hoping an expanded referral network will “work” that much for them, and earn them Internet riches. I feel sorry if you are one of them and hope you take it as school fee for a lesson well-learnt.

Be sure to check the AGLOCO website on Monday morning (Tuesday if you’re in Asia) because you should be able to download the Viewbar.

“…We have made a workaround regarding the ad server problem and we will finally be launching the Viewbar. Some, but not all, of our ad networks will be connected. These networks have enough ads on them, so we are comfortable releasing the software as we continue to work on the outstanding issues that remain with the other networks. All of the preliminary Viewbar functions are there, but with the ad problems we will not be initially launching with the personalized ad targeting. We will continue to develop this capability after we have launched and when it is available the new version of the software will be incorporated into your viewbar automatically.
The Viewbar is currently available for Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista and will work with IE (Internet Explorer) or Firefox browsers…”

The viewbar release is surely long overdue, it has been a bumpy road, longer than expected. At last, it’s going live soon! Join AGLOCO today and be consider the pioneer batch of members.

You must sign up for AGLOCO. Even if you don’t care about making money on the internet, if you spend any time at all surfing you need to sign up for this service. The amount of money you can make grows exponentially based on the number of people you refer.

Here are the basics: You run the AGLOCO viewbar while you surf. The viewbar will provide content from companies relevant to the pages you are surfing. You also get money for signing other people up and for the people they sign up. The viewbar is due to be released any day now and this is definitely something you want to get in on at the ground floor. Why let everyone else make money off the time you spend surfing?

I am sure by now most of you would have recieved an e-mail from AGLOCO about the release of the viewbar. If you are a Member and did not get an email over the weekend you need to correct this, as it is the only way to get the Viewbar notice with downloading instructions. If you did not get it, try logging into your account to make sure we have a current email address on file (if it is correct and you still did not get an email, check your junk/spam folders).

AGLOCO will be releasing the AGLOCO Viewbar software soon and want to update Members on how things will work when it is released. Each Member will get an email informing them that their Viewbar is available. It will contain detailed instructions on the download, which will be done from the agloco.com website. Members will be invited to download in groups of 50,000 a day for a two week period, with Members contacted in the order in which they signed up.

AGLOCO advocates will be rejoicing the world over about this latest update and who can blame them, after several delays. The last update from AGLOCO blog announced that the viewbar was slated to be release from 2 April - 16 April, but sadly, that didn’t materialized, and presented AGLOCO skeptics to have a field day giving their darnest “I told you so” grin.

Will members’ patience be tested once again? Will the viewbar finally see the light of day? Or will the skeptics once again have the last laugh? Stay tune for this nail biting finish.

AGLOCO make money online

Close to a month since signing up as an ALGOCO member, my direct referrals count and overall total in my network still stands at one. Whoever you are who had took the wise decision to join my network, trust me when I said I’m forever grateful to you!

How some memeber can hit tens of thousands of referrals in their network, really beats me. Calvin of calvinwarr.com had just discovered AGLOCO and is still kicking himself for jumping on the bandwagon so late. How I wish he’d read my post on AGLOCO earlier, then who knows, he could become my number 2 signups.

Anyhow, Calvin had joined another network and had posted a summary of what AGLOCO is about and what benefits it can bring to its members. All the information can be found in AGLOCO’s homepage and blog, if you look hard enough. But Calvin had compiled important information like how AGLOCO make money, how members can make money and why you should join now, in his blog post, to save you the trouble to surf and search for them.

Well, every system, however well thought out and well conceived, will always have its fair share of skeptics and detractors. For AGLOCO, its strongest detractor so far that I’ve come across is Kumiko of Kumiko’s Cash Quest. I was actually caught by surprise how this petite lady from Tokyo went ballistic and took AGLOCO bashing to town! Of course, she is entitled to her opinions which are posted here and here.

It is always good to hear both sides of the story and evaluate the pros and cons before you make the eventual decision to join certain programs.
