These days, it seems like everyone is jumping on the Affilate Marketing banwagon and trying to get their hands in the money pie. The truth of the matter is, 90 percent of affiliates make a total of 10 percent of all the affiliate revenue generated. The remaining 10 percent of affiliates make the rest of 90 percent of all affiliate income!
Those top 10 percent affiliate earners can be classified as Super Affiliate and this British gentleman, Kieron Donoghue surely belongs in the upper class. Kieron is the owner and director of UK Offer Media Ltd, and he specializes in making money online through affiliate deals in his many diverse websites and blogs.
Kieron’s official Affiliate Marketing blog can be found here, or rather strangely named here.org.uk. For all his expertise and track records in affiliate marketing, Kieron could do well to nail a more relevant key term in his domain name to better optimize search engine traffic. I really can’t see any connection between “here” and affiliate marketing.

Since the pre-Internet days, businesses had used coupons as a marketing tool to drive sales and create customer loyalty. Consumers enjoyed savings to their purchases by using cut-out coupons from newspaper and/or magazines. With the advent of the Internet and e-commerce explosion, shopping online had become a way of life for many people, and the use of coupons had shifted online too!
Who doesn’t love a good deal, whether you are shopping online or offline? The idea of coupons has always been a love/hate relationship for many consumers. In the past, you needed to find them in newspapers, magazines, etc., cut them out in order to use them. As we do not enjoy the power of web search at our finger tips back then, this “search-cut-use” process often took up more time than it was worth.
But now that we live in a digital world, using online coupons is as simple as typing in a code while checking out of your favorite online retailer. Most of the e-commerce portals have ongoing discounts going at their sites, and apart from these there are sites exclusively meant for distribution of online discount coupons. Sites like UltimateCoupons.com offer tons of great online coupons for hundreds of online merchants to help you get free shipping or dollars off your regular purchases.

Update: This contest was reported to be a SCAM. My initial thought was to delete this post, but decided to leave it with an update to warn my readers, but with the content strike through and all links disabled.
Getting quality one way backlinks to your blogs are very important in your Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization efforts. But where can we get such quality links from? Should we buy or “rent” them? Submit our blogs to link directories? Or should we trade links with fellow bloggers?
Darin Carter of Search Engine Marketing shows us 3 options on how you can build your incoming links. Darin has been involved in Internet Marketing for over 9 years and freely shares his experience in search engine marketing techniques on his blog. I have been a regular reader of his blog since so long ago and his recent change of blog design certainly brought the user experience and visual treats to new heights!
Being a tech geek himself, Darin is renowned for giving away the latest generation tech toys in his previous blog contests. He is at it again, this time giving away a free iPhone! This contest Co-Sponsored by his new Search Marketing consulting firm Innovative SEM, LLC.
There are 6 different ways to enter the contest and you can increase your odds of winning by taking advantage of all 6 options. The Contest will end Monday October 15th 2007 at Midnight EST and the Winner of the Free Apple iPhone will be announced on Tuesday October 16th 2007!

An important factor in the marketing and branding of blogs and websites is getting good domain name from the word go. Since ‘good’ is very subjective, Relevancy of the domain name with respect to the blog niche is certainly an aspect of a good domain name.
However, on this particular blog about tech news and online tips & tricks, all level-headed arguments of having relevancy of domain name gets thrown out the window. The blog in question is called NutsAndMilk.com and my first impression upon seeing the name conjured images of breakfast cereals and milk.
As indicated on its About page, Nuts & Milk is a blog on general tips and tricks related to online and offline computing. As a reader, I certainly would not associate this quirky domain name with the blog niche. As such, this will make it harder for its owner to promote and market the blog to its targeted audience. Having said that, this blog still score on other aspects in that it has a no frills blog template, is easy on the eyes and also offers a user friendly navigation experience. Not only does John Cow make money online and deliver free milk to you on a daily basis, he is making a habit out of giving away people’s money! No feeling in the whole wide world can beat that of giving away other people’s money. So the cow had managed to cajole his cool web hosting provider to dish out another $500 to be given to one lucky milk drinker!
The $500 cheque for the previous competition had probably reached the previous winner and word has it that she will be spending the prize money on a spanking new moo-tastic pool table. This time the cow want to know what exactly you (or me) are going to do with all that money if you win the latest cash giveaway.
If you know how much a console fanboy I am, you will know the disappointment I felt for not being drawn as the lucky winner of the Playstation 3 giveaway contest. That superdeluxubercool tech toy was in fact won by the cow himself.
So it is pretty much a given that I will be buying a Playstation 3 console if I win the $500 this time. With whatever loose change remaining (most likely need cash top up myself), I will grab the latest games and have a blast off in cyberspace with the cow!
The winner will be drawn at the end of September so that you (or me) can go ahead with our shopping spree with Micfo’s money.
