Find The Right Key To Unlock Your Keywords
I’ve been reading up on Search Engine Optimization techniques and realized one of the crucial element in SEO is to perform keyword research and select keywords relevant to your niche. To be honest with you, this important process was neglected on this blog early on and I could be paying for this negligence with low and unfocused traffic. If you don’t want to end up like me facing an uphill task climbing search engine ranking and driving targeted traffic, read on to find out what I’ve learnt.
Keyword research is a crucial starting point of SEO if you want to optimize your blogs and even more important if you want to monetized them. Having your blogs optimized for the right keywords can make a huge difference when it comes to getting targeted traffic. Targeted keywords drive targeted organic traffic, which in turn translate to high conversion rate.
Keyword research is the only way to approach SEO with informed expectations. Ideally, you would want to find a keyword or keywords that are high in demand (number of times the keyword was searched for) but with low competition (number of competing sites with similar keywords). However, we know that is highly difficult to achieve, given the millions of websites out there which were already highly optimized with highly targeted keywords. You might be an expert in your niche, but you should consider your keyword choices from the perspective of someone very new to your topic. You may think this is an easy process, but trust me, it is hard enough for me to come up with some tips and ideas to get your brainstorming session going!
- Navigate through your blogs and its content, record any keyword phrase ideas that come to mind.
